My Services
All Services
At Hillary's Therapeutic Massage, each service is designed to help you unwind, heal, and reconnect with your body. From deep tissue relief to gentle prenatal care, my treatments cater to your unique needs and wellness goals.
Deep Tissue Massage
The deep tissue massage realigns the deeper layers of connective and muscle tissue and releases tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on tense areas. Ideal for those suffering from chronic muscle issues, injury recovery, or repetitive strain, this massage helps break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body.
Who Can Benefit: Perfect for individuals experiencing chronic pain, athletes with sports injuries, or anyone dealing with ongoing stress that affects the body’s musculature.
Health Benefits:
- Relieves Deep Muscle Tension: Targets and breaks up knots and tension in the deeper layers of muscle.
- Reduces Chronic Pain: Helps alleviate pain from conditions like fibromyalgia, arthritis, and lower back issues.
- Improves Range of Motion: Assists in restoring mobility and reducing stiffness in the muscles and joints.
- Promotes Faster Healing: Increases local blood circulation, speeding up recovery from muscle and tendon injuries.
Prenatal & Post-Partum Massage
The prenatal massage helps a mother ease aching muscles, reduce back pain, increase energy, reduce tension, headaches, ease cramps and promote general well-being. The post-partum massage can help clear swelling, promote milk production, release tension and help you regain proper posture and body mechanics.
Who Can Benefit: Ideal for pregnant women seeking relief from the common discomforts of pregnancy and new mothers looking to recover and restore their body after childbirth.
Health Benefits:
- Reduces Pregnancy Discomforts: Alleviates back pain, leg cramps, and swelling often associated with pregnancy.
- Enhances Maternal Well-being: Reduces stress and promotes relaxation, which is beneficial for both mother and baby.
- Supports Postpartum Recovery: Helps the body return to its pre-pregnancy condition and can assist with the realignment of the pelvis.
- Improves Circulation: Enhances blood flow to both mother and baby, promoting healthier development.
Cupping
Who Can Benefit: Cupping is ideal for athletes, individuals experiencing muscle stiffness or chronic pain, and those looking to enhance physical recovery. It's also suited for anyone curious about alternative therapies that offer deep tissue healing.
Health Benefits:
- Enhances Circulation: Boosts overall blood flow, promoting faster healing and recovery.
- Relieves Muscle Tension: Targets deeper tissues for the release of muscle knots and constrictions.
- Detoxification: Aids in removing toxins from body tissues, enhancing immune function.
- Reduces Inflammation: By promoting blood flow to the affected areas, it helps reduce swelling and inflammation.
This service can be added on for an extra $5 to all massages.
Hot Stone Massage
Who Can Benefit: Ideal for anyone seeking deeper muscle relaxation without the intensity of deep tissue massage. It's particularly beneficial for those with muscle tension who prefer a lighter touch.
Health Benefits:
- Deep Muscle Relaxation: The heat from the stones penetrates deep into the muscles, easing tension and stiffness.
- Pain Relief: Helps alleviate pain associated with arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other chronic conditions by increasing blood flow and reducing muscle spasms.
- Stress Reduction: Provides a deep state of relaxation, reducing stress and promoting a calm mind.
- Improved Flexibility: Warms up the muscles, making them more pliable and easing movement.
Relaxation Massage
Who Can Benefit: This massage is perfect for anyone looking to reduce stress, relieve anxiety, or simply enjoy a moment of tranquility. It is ideal for those new to massage therapy or seeking a gentle, nurturing experience.
Health Benefits:
- Stress Reduction: Significantly lowers stress levels, enhancing emotional and physical well-being.
- Improves Sleep: Promotes better sleep patterns by relaxing the nervous system.
- Increases Circulation: Boosts blood flow to body tissues, facilitating healing and recovery.
